The Holyoke Blue Sox (7-8) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Sanford Mainers (4-9), securing a 6-5 victory on Wednesday at Goodall Park.

Connor Spencer had two extra-base hits for the Holyoke Blue Sox. He doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Kody Kerski brought the heat against the Sanford Mainers during his outing. Kerski gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Matt Horan (0-2) took the loss for the Sanford Mainers. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The Holyoke Blue Sox were sparked by Spencer and Paul McConkey, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
