Thursday was a great day for Tyler Badamo, as Badamo pitched seven shutout innings to carry the North Adams SteepleCats (8-5) to a 6-0 victory over the Sanford Mainers at Goodall Park.

The North Adams SteepleCats blew out the Sanford Mainers (4-7) thanks to 13 hits, including zero extra base hits. The North Adams SteepleCats scored three runs in the second on an RBI single by Shane Klemcke, an error, and an error.

Conor Biggio had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, tripled in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

Tripp Davis was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out four.

The North Adams SteepleCats were sparked by Charlie Law and Biggio, who teamed up for six hits and three RBIs.
