An ace performance by Trevor Frank carried the Corvallis Knights (27-21) to an 8-2 win over the Cowlitz Black Bears (23-25) on Thursday at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Frank kept the Cowlitz Black Bears off the board during his seven innings of work. Frank struck out six and allowed one walk and three hits.

The Corvallis Knights blew out the Cowlitz Black Bears thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Corvallis Knights scored four runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Austin Barr, an error, , a double by Nate Roberts, and a single by Dane Lund.

Roberts racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Corvallis Knights.

Mikey Murray (3-4) took the loss for the Cowlitz Black Bears. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
