The Kelowna Falcons cruise past the Bend Elks, 8-1

The Bend Elks (11-13) had a tough outing on Wednesday, as the Kelowna Falcons (14-10) dominated in an 8-1 win at Vince Genna Stadium.

The Kelowna Falcons scored four runs in the fourth on , an RBI single by Kyle Pearson, a single by Greg Friesen, , an RBI single by Andrew Firth, and a groundout by Tucker Alexander.

Jace Conrad paced the Kelowna Falcons at the plate. Conrad went 4-6, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the first, second, fourth, and ninth innings.

Will Sparks was hot from the plate for the Bend Elks. Sparks went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning.

Brandon Marris improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Kelowna Falcons. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Darin Gillies (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
