Noah Gapp hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Gapp struck out 12 batters to carry the Edmonton Prospects (2-0) to a 7-2 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs (0-2) at Seaman Stadium.

Erik Sabrowski went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the Edmonton Prospects. He singled in the second, fourth, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Ian Scott ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
