Jose Barraza went 1-3 and hit a home run as the Lake Erie Crushers (28-32) took home a 5-1 victory over the River City Rascals (29-31) in seven innings at CarShield Field on Wednesday.
He homered in the sixth inning.Connor Reed put together a nice outing. Reed gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out one during his six innings of work.

Jason Zgardowski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
