A walk-off from Jeremy Johnson brought home the winning run for the Lima Locos (1-0) in a 4-3 victory over the Licking County Settlers at Simmons Field on Wednesday.

Johnson led the Lima Locos' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the eighth inning.

Ryan Cyr pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out four.

Austin Cox got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Phillip Piesko ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
