The Cincinnati Steam (19-16) put in a full day's work in an 11-inning, 5-1 win over the S Ohio Copperheads (19-17) Sunday at Bob Wren Stadium.

With the score tied at one in the eleventh inning, reached on an error, bringing home Dan Chmielewski.

Zach Beckner had a hot bat for the Cincinnati Steam. Beckner went 4-6, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second, seventh, ninth, and eleventh innings.

Daron Bowling had an impressive outing against the S Ohio Copperheads' lineup. Bowling held the S Ohio Copperheads hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Jesse Anderson was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
