A magnificent effort by Luke Lucas spurred the Yorkton Cardinals (18-15) to an 8-1 win over the Fort McMurray Giants on Thursday at Shell Place.
Lucas got the win for the Yorkton Cardinals thanks to 11 strikeouts. Lucas allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks over nine innings.
