Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Monday as the Yorkton Cardinals (21-15) outscored the Medicine Hat Mavericks (27-11) 15-10.

The two teams combined for 31 hits in the game.

Hunter Hisky racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Alex Alders racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Gavin Collins got his fourth win for the Yorkton Cardinals despite allowing seven runs over four innings. Collins struck out one, walked six and gave up seven hits.

Talon Kunkel was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in two innings, walked three and struck out none.

The Yorkton Cardinals pounded the Medicine Hat Mavericks pitching, as six hitters combined for 14 hits, 10 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
