A six-run seventh inning sealed a 13-6 win for the Yorkton Cardinals (25-15) over the Melville Millionaires (7-32) on Wednesday at Jubilee Park.

The Yorkton Cardinals scored in the seventh on an RBI double by Luke Wilkinson, a sacrifice fly by Garrett Fort, a single by Caden Rosholt, an RBI single by Ben Schanding, an RBI single by Dylan Borman, an error, a groundout by Daniel McFarland, and a groundout by McFarland.

Hunter Hisky led the Yorkton Cardinals' offensive threat, as he got on base five times in the game. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the second, fifth, and seventh innings.

The Melville Millionaires were led by Shane Fodness's hitting. Fodness went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Luke Lucas got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed three runs over six innings. Lucas struck out two, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Cole Masik (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked nine and struck out two.
