The Regina Red Sox make the most of 5 hits in 3-2 victory over the Swift Current Indians

The Regina Red Sox (21-14) and the Swift Current Indians (28-10) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Regina Red Sox that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Mitchell Field.

The fact that the Regina Red Sox grouped all of their runs into the fifth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Jackson Wark put together a nice outing. Wark gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Adam Prashad improved to 5-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Regina Red Sox. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Juan Pizarro (2-3) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
