The Licking County Settlers (22-18) jumped out to an early lead on the Xenia Scouts (26-14) and captured a 9-2 victory on Saturday at Don Edwards Stadium.

Cody Maw improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Licking County Settlers. He allowed two runs over six innings. Maw struck out two, walked one and gave up seven hits.
