A walk-off single from Drew Beck brought home the winning run for the Phipps Park Barracudas (10-11) in a 4-3 victory over the Pompano Beach Clippers (12-6) at Forrest Hill H.S. on Thursday.

Collin Ridout did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Phipps Park Barracudas, reaching base two times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the ninth innings.

Owen Lorenz baffled the Pompano Beach Clippers, striking out seven batters. Lorenz allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks over six innings.

Despite the loss, the Pompano Beach Clippers' Tommy Romero dominated the Phipps Park Barracudas' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out 10.

Anthony Delaney improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Phipps Park Barracudas. He allowed one run over three innings. Delaney struck out five, walked one and gave up two hits.

Cannon Rodgers (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
