Drew Huff went 4-4 at the plate, helping the Alexandria Aces (20-13) to a 6-3 victory over the Herndon Braves (15-18) on Sunday at Herndon High School.
He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.Drew Morrison had an impressive outing against the Herndon Braves' lineup. Morrison held the Herndon Braves hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.
Chesdin Harrington got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed three runs over five innings. Harrington struck out six, walked one and gave up five hits.
Conner Hall was charged with the loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
