A superb effort by Jordan Grosjean carried the Irish Hills Leprechauns (7-5) to a 6-1 win over the Grand Lake Mariners (8-3) on Friday at Celina, OH (Montggomery field).

Grosjean got the win for the Irish Hills Leprechauns thanks to eight strikeouts. Grosjean allowed one earned run, two hits and one walk over nine innings.

Jack Clark had two extra-base hits for the Irish Hills Leprechauns. He doubled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Payton Coddou (0-1) took the loss for the Grand Lake Mariners. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

Greg Ludwig, Carsten Dembeck, Clark and Kendall King helped lead the Irish Hills Leprechauns. They combined for 10 hits and three RBIs.
