The Phipps Park Barracudas (2-5) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 15-5 landslide win over the Pompano Beach Clippers (3-1) at Pompano Community Park.

Trae Theodore racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Phipps Park Barracudas. He tripled in the fourth innings and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Casey Santos-Ocampo pitched lights out for the Phipps Park Barracudas. Santos-Ocampo held the Pompano Beach Clippers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six.

Ryan Hernandez paced the Pompano Beach Clippers at the plate. Hernandez went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Danny Melgarejo recorded his first win of the year for the Phipps Park Barracudas. He allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings. Melgarejo struck out two, walked two and gave up four hits.

Matt Marini (0-1) took the loss for the Pompano Beach Clippers. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out three.
