Jake Bird hopes every outing could go as well as Wednesday, as Bird tossed six scoreless innings to carry the Falmouth Commodores (4-1) to a 3-0 victory over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (0-5) at Red Wilson Field.

The Falmouth Commodores were led by Tyler Lawrence's hitting. Lawrence went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.
