The Danville Dans (15-13) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the DuPage Drones (15-14) on Tuesday.
While the Danville Dans led until the sixth inning, the DuPage Drones worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run single by Aaron Meyer.
Meyer racked up three RBIs on four hits for the DuPage Drones. He singled in the first, fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.
Keven Long picked up the win for the DuPage Drones. Long allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.
A bright spot for the Danville Dans in the defeat was Matt Wivinis, who allowed only two runs while striking out eight.
Wivinis (0-1) took the loss for the Danville Dans.
