An ace performance by Chris Vallimont carried the Jamestown Jammers (26-20) to a 5-0 win over the Victor RailRiders (22-23) on Wednesday at Victor High School.
Vallimont's 12 strikeouts helped the Jamestown Jammers to the victory. The Jamestown Jammers' pitcher gave up just three hits over nine shutout innings.
Hunter Jones led the Jamestown Jammers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Brennen Smith ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked six, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
