Mark Venice went 2-3, helping the Adirondack Trail Blazers (9-30) to a 4-3 victory over the Victor RailRiders (18-20) on Tuesday at Robert Smith Sports Complex .

Aaron Hedgecock picked up the win for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. Hedgecock allowed three earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out four over eight innings of work.

Jack Zagaja was hot from the plate for the Victor RailRiders. Zagaja went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Luke Tomczyk was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
