CJ Pickering went 1-3, helping the Jamestown Jammers (22-15) to a 6-2 victory over the Geneva Red Wings (8-27) on Friday at Diethrick Park.
He singled in the sixth inning.The Jamestown Jammers relied on Nick Wegmann to eat up innings en route to the win. Wegmann pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and four walks while striking out six.
Alec Jordan couldn't get it done on the mound for the Geneva Red Wings, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
