Joe Genord went 1-5 and hit a home run, helping the Amsterdam Mohawks (19-11) to a 7-3 victory over the Albany Dutchmen (16-16) on Friday at Shuttleworth Park.

Chase Haney had an impressive outing against the Albany Dutchmen's lineup. Haney held the Albany Dutchmen hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Anthony Forte had two extra-base hits for the Albany Dutchmen. He singled in the second inning, tripled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jared Gold couldn't get it done on the bump for the Albany Dutchmen, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
