The Albany Dutchmen (15-14) and the Geneva Red Wings (7-21) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Albany Dutchmen that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-3 win at McDonough Park.

Jon Skidmore was solid at the plate for the Albany Dutchmen. Skidmore went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Max Goione had two extra-base hits for the Geneva Red Wings. He singled in the fifth inning, tripled in the seventh inning, and doubled in the ninth inning.

Gavin Wallace improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Albany Dutchmen. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Dalton Reed couldn't get it done on the hill for the Geneva Red Wings, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
