Brennen Smith kept the Geneva Red Wings (6-17) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Victor RailRiders (10-14) beat the Geneva Red Wings, 8-0.

Smith allowed two hits, four walks and struck out six.

The Victor RailRiders blew out the Geneva Red Wings thanks to 17 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Victor RailRiders scored four runs in the eighth on the Victor RailRiders scored in the eighth on a solo home run by Jack Zagaja, a solo home run by Aaron Endres, a groundout by Keyshawn DOrso, a groundout by Dale Wickham, a double by Nick Russo, and a double by Nathan Koslowski.

Alec Jordan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
