The Utica Blue Sox (23-11) jumped out to an early lead on the Jamestown Jammers (20-15) and captured a 15-4 victory on Friday at Diethrick Park.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Utica Blue Sox left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A sacrifice fly by Kyle Winkler and an RBI single by Anthony Young during the first inning fueled the Utica Blue Sox's offense early.

Young racked up five RBIs on five hits for the Utica Blue Sox.

Ben Brookover racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Jamestown Jammers. He homered in the fourth innings.

Chad Burrows improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Utica Blue Sox. Burrows struck out none, walked two and gave up no hits.

Nick Wegmann was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked three and struck out three.
