The Albany Dutchmen (7-5) blew out the Glens Falls Dragons (2-11) 7-1 on Friday at East Field after pouring on five runs in the second inning.
The Albany Dutchmen scored in the second on a groundout by Micah McHugh, an RBI single by Jack Gethings, a single by Cole Malloy, , and a double by Justin Childers.
Childers racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Albany Dutchmen.
Nate Harris put together a nice outing. Harris held the Glens Falls Dragons hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Nate Cardy led the Glens Falls Dragons' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth innings.
Jackson Bubala got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered three hits.
Joe Jones (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
