A walk-off single from Robbie Knightes brought home the winning run for the Glens Falls Dragons (5-16) in a 4-3 victory over the Amsterdam Mohawks (15-7) at East Field on Friday.
Drew Greenwood was hot from the plate for the Glens Falls Dragons. Greenwood went 4-5 and drove in one. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
The Amsterdam Mohawks had no answer for Franklin Miller, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Amsterdam Mohawks managed just one hit off of the the Glens Falls Dragons' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out three during his four innings of work.
Carter Knapek (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
