Hunter Boyd held the Lower Columbia (35-13) scoreless for eight innings to boost the Yakima Valley (33-16) to a 1-0 victory.
Boyd struck out five and allowed four walks and six hits.
A walk-off single by Parker Depasquale gave the Yakima Valley the win.
Depasquale was hot from the plate for the Yakima Valley. Depasquale went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.
Dakota Weindell recorded his second win of the year for the Yakima Valley. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Joel Worden couldn't get it done on the bump for the Lower Columbia, taking a loss. He lasted just 8 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed one run.
