A superb effort by Jarrod Molnaa hoisted the Walla Walla (24-16) to a 7-0 win over the Yakima Valley (30-15) on Monday at Warrior Field .

Molnaa held the Yakima Valley scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out seven.

The offense exploded for the the Walla Walla in the third. In the inning the Walla Walla scored five runs. The Walla Walla scored in the third on , a double by Steven Sordahl, a groundout by Dylan Wilbert, a double by Blake Macdonald, a sacrifice fly by Cameron Walker, an error, a single by Josh Kutzke, and an RBI single by Garrett March.

Macdonald had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

Hunter Boyd couldn't get it done on the mound for the Yakima Valley, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
