The Topeka Train Robbers (25-33) built an early edge on Monday, but the Great Bend Boom (19-40) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Al Burns Field.
While the Topeka Train Robbers led until the seventh inning, the Great Bend Boom worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by Darryl Baca.
Stephen Swagerty picked up the win for the Great Bend Boom. Swagerty pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out four.
A bright spot for the Topeka Train Robbers in the defeat was Nick Hernandez, who allowed only three runs while striking out six.
Hernandez was charged with his sixth loss of the year.
