Michael Rampone went 1-4 and hit a home run, helping the Tucson Saguaros (51-13) to a 5-4 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (31-32) on Wednesday at Kokernot Field.

It was a good day at the plate for the Alpine Cowboys' Reagan Rutledge. Rutledge went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Matt Kelley got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Kelley struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

David Gates ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
