Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Garden City Wind (37-23) outscored the Great Bend Boom (18-40) 10-9.

The two teams combined for 26 hits in the game.

Beau Welborn racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Garden City Wind. He singled in the first inning and homered in the second inning.

Logan Trowbridge had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Cameron Powers improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Garden City Wind. Powers struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Ian Miller couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Great Bend Boom, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked three and struck out three.
