Taylor Zuetenbarst knocked in three runs as the Salina Stockade (28-30) took home a 9-6 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (27-30) at Kokernot Field on Wednesday.
He singled in the first and fifth innings and homered in the sixth inning.Nate Ferrell racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the second innings and homered in the fifth inning.
Even though Dalton Bernardi allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. He struck out five, walked six and surrendered seven hits.
Jake Heissler was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
