The White Sands Pupfish (28-39) and the Roswell Invaders (43-23) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the White Sands Pupfish that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-2 win at Griggs Park.

Vladimer Gomez reached base three times in the game for the White Sands Pupfish. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Garret Alvarez picked up the win for the White Sands Pupfish. Alvarez allowed no earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Cody Coffman had two extra-base hits for the Roswell Invaders. He doubled in the first and eighth innings.

Eric Gleese couldn't get it done on the hill for the Roswell Invaders, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
