Eric Williams went 2-4, sparking the Trinidad Triggers (32-28) to a 3-2 victory in eight innings over the Alpine Cowboys (29-30) on Friday at Central Park.

Joe Robinson baffled the Alpine Cowboys, striking out seven batters. Robinson allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks over seven innings.

Jake Heissler allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings of work.

Dominic Monda improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. Monda struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Ryan Richardson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
