Cody Coffman hit two home runs to carry the Roswell Invaders (24-9) to a 5-4 win over the Tucson Saguaros (26-9) at Joe Bauman Park.
The Tucson Saguaros were ahead early but they ultimately surrendered the lead for good. The Tucson Saguaros were up until the eighth inning, but the Roswell Invaders had other plans for the final outcome, taking the lead back on a solo home run by Coffman.
Kyle Perez pitched lights out for the Roswell Invaders. The Tucson Saguaros managed just one hit off of Perez, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.
Roby Romero (4-1) took the loss for the Tucson Saguaros. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
