The Trinidad Triggers (18-9) and the Alpine Cowboys (12-12) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Trinidad Triggers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Central Park.

Eric Williams racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Trinidad Triggers. He homered in the first innings.

Joe Robinson's nine strikeouts helped the Trinidad Triggers to the victory. Robinson allowed one earned run, seven hits and no walks over six innings.

Eric Ferguson paced the Alpine Cowboys at the plate. Ferguson went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second, sixth, and eighth innings.

Joey Webb (4-1) took the loss for the Alpine Cowboys. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
