A walk-off solo blast from Ken Olszewski brought home the winning run for the Garden City Wind (5-7) in a 6-5 victory over the Great Bend Boom (6-4) in 10 innings at Clint Lightner on Tuesday.

Olszewski rocked the Great Bend Boom with two home runs. Olszewski went 2-5 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Olszewski homered in the eighth and tenth innings.

Willie Ethington improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Garden City Wind. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Phillip Ramos couldn't get it done on the bump for the Great Bend Boom, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
