The Atwater Aviators (6-7) beat the South County Vipers 8-6 on Sunday at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark behind Victor Tiscareno, who went 2-5.

It was a good day at the plate for the South County Vipers' Vegley. Vegley went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Drew Stahl got his second win for the Atwater Aviators despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out nine, walked four and surrendered eight hits.

Lopez was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in eight innings, walked eight and struck out six.
