Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the San Francisco Seagulls (4-2) outscored the San Mateo Rounders 19-16.

The teams totaled 28 hits in the game.

Neil Sterling racked up three RBIs on two hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the fourth inning, homered in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.

The San Mateo Rounders had no answer for Jared Koenig, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Koenig held the San Mateo Rounders hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Julius Raval recorded his first win of the year for the San Francisco Seagulls. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered one hit.

The San Francisco Seagulls pounded the San Mateo Rounders pitching, as six hitters combined for nine hits, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
