A walk-off single from Connor Oliver brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (24-25) in a 2-1 victory over the Joliet Slammers (28-23) in 10 innings at All Pro Freight Stadium on Sunday.
Oliver was hot from the plate for the Lake Erie Crushers. Oliver went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, sixth, and tenth innings.
Keegan Ghidotti improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. Ghidotti struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.
Spencer Medick (5-1) took the loss for the Joliet Slammers. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
