Trevor Foss racked up eight strikeouts in the the Washington Wild Things win. Foss allowed no earned runs, nine hits and no walks over nine innings.
Lars Liguori (0-3) took the loss for the Schaumburg Boomers. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
Rodriguez, Yezzo and Jamodrick McGruder helped lead the Washington Wild Things. They combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
