The Lake Erie Crushers (26-27) and the Evansville Otters (31-23) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Lake Erie Crushers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-6 win at Bosse Field.

Bryan De La Rosa racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Despite the loss, the Evansville Otters' Felix Baez dominated the Lake Erie Crushers' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Josh Laxer got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Ken Frosch was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
