Stoops allowed two hits, two walks and struck out six.

Giancarlo Brugnoni racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He homered in the second inning.

Jeremy Gooding (4-6) took the loss for the Florence Freedom. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out 10, and allowed five runs.
