Collins Cuthrell went 2-3 and hit a home run as the Florence Freedom (28-37) took home a 6-2 victory over the Washington Wild Things (31-31) in seven innings at UC Health Stadium on Saturday.
He homered in the third inning and singled in the sixth innings.Tony Vocca pitched lights out for the Florence Freedom. Vocca gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Brian OKeefe was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Florence Freedom batters and allowing two runs.
