Craig Massoni went 2-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Gateway Grizzlies (22-21) to a 5-3 victory over the River City Rascals (20-21) on Friday at GCS Ballpark.

Adam Eggnatz struck out five hitters en route to the the Gateway Grizzlies win. Eggnatz allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings.

Alexi Colon had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and homered in the ninth inning.

Josh Wright (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
