The Joliet Slammers (26-18) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Windy City ThunderBolts (23-21) on Saturday.

LaLonde did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Windy City ThunderBolts, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Clay Chapman got the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts thanks to seven strikeouts. Chapman allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk over eight innings.
Joe Staley had a hot bat for the Joliet Slammers. Staley went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.
