Cesar Rodriguez had two extra base hits as the Top Speed Baseball (3-0) took home a 5-2 victory over the Fairfield Indians in seven innings at Alan Witt Park on Saturday.
He doubled in the second and third innings.The Fairfield Indians had no answer for Bret Bowyer, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Bowyer held the Fairfield Indians hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Tyler Clifton (0-1) took the loss for the Fairfield Indians. He lasted just seven innings, walked eight, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
