The Top Speed Baseball (2-0) jumped out to an early lead on the Fairfield Indians and captured a 12-4 victory on Friday at Alan Witt Park.

An error, an RBI double by Matthew Minnick, an RBI single by Mitch Guilmette, and an RBI single by Guilmette in the first inning and a groundout by Nick Rau and a solo home run by Drew Taylor during the second inning fueled the Top Speed Baseball's offense early.Minnick had three extra-base hits for the Top Speed Baseball.
The Fairfield Indians had no answer for Chrit Rudkin, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Rudkin gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.
Guilmette, Riley Krane, Minnick and Taylor helped lead the Top Speed Baseball. They combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
